This Operator Unit (Display) is compatible with the Raytheon Anschütz Kiel Standard 22 Gyrocompass. It enables users to operate all equipment connected to a CAN bus, including integrated navigational devices such as the gyrocompass, GPS compass, and magnetic compass. Multiple Operator Units can be connected to a single CAN bus, with each unit having equal priority—no master control is assigned.

The Operator Unit is designed for selecting, controlling, and monitoring navigational sensors. It is available in two mounting options: desk-flush mounted or with an angled fixing bracket. The unit features a durable casing with a front panel housing the display, six sealed membrane keys, and a dual-color LED. Internal electronics are arranged on two PCBs connected to the display via optical fiber. An integrated alarm transmitter provides audible alerts.

This model supports dual redundant CAN buses (CAN1 and CAN2) and includes a PTC in the power supply line. In the event of a short circuit, the PTC limits current flow to prevent further equipment damage. Note that the unit does not feature voltage fuse protection.
